An officer recognized James Steven Casey, who was sitting in a vehicle in the 700 block of Bonham St. Casey was believed to be wanted. The officer made contact with Casey and detained him. A warrant check revealed Casey to have outstanding warrant for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Casey was arrested, booked, and transported to Lamar County SO.
An officer was summoned to the Texas Parole Division office in the 3900 block of N. Main. He made contact with Michael Anthony Feith who was wanted for a Parole Violation Warrant out of Austin. Feith was taken into custody without issue. He was transferred to County Jail.
Officers were called to the 3900 block of NE Loop 286 to a motel. Employees there presented officers with a handgun that they had located in a recentely vacated room. Notification of owner is pending.
