On July 18, Officers were responded to the 300 block of Stone Avenue on an intoxicated person. They found Ladetra Michelle Bailey (40) inside an apartment where she was unconscious in a chair. The officers were able to awaken Bailey and establish that she was not in danger. A warrant check revealed an outstanding warrant for Theft under 2500.00 with two or more prior convictions on Bailey as well as numerous misdemeanor warrants. She was arrested on the warrants without incident.
On July 18, Jamal Arkel Hurd (19) was arrested on outstanding warrants for Burglary of a Habitation and Theft of a Firearm. He was contacted by an officer in the Booker T. Washington Apartments and taken into custody without incident.
On July 19, Officers conducted a felony arrest in the 1900 block of Lamar Avenue and arrested Xavious Lawhane Smith (33) on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance. He was booked and placed in jail without incident.
Officers made 13 traffic stops, 3 adult arrest, and answered 112 calls for service for this reporting period.
