On July 23, Officers were dispatched to meet a victim in the 200 block of SE 16th St. The victim, who was visibly upset and shaken, advised officers that an ex-boyfriend, Justin Kenny Horne (29) had physically assaulted her and had intentionally rammed her vehicle with his own multiple times. The victim had been leaving a parking lot in the 1600 block of Lamar when Horne had boxed her in and attempted to take her car keys. As the victim struggled with Horne, he bit her on the shoulder. Victim was able to leave the scene but once she arrived at her home, Horne had come there and began ramming her vehicle with his own, causing damage to the vehicle and causing distress to the victim. Horne left the scene prior to officers arrival. Horne was located at his residence where he was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, a Felony. He was booked without incident.
On July 22, a call of Criminal Trespassing in the 200 block of NW 9th St brought officers into contact with Bradley Dewayne Sims (53). A warrant check revealed Sims to be wanted on a Parole Violation Charge. He was arrested without incident
