Irmgard Lina Ohlemacher-Allen passed from this world peacefully to be joined with her Heavenly Father on December 5th, 2018 in Paris, Texas at the beautiful age of 93.
Family Night is scheduled for 6:00 to 7:30 pm on Saturday, December 8th at Roden-Pryor Funeral Directors with funeral services scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, December 9th at Roden-Pryor, with Crystal Dawn Brown officiating. Interment will be in Red Hill Cemetery. A family gathering will follow at Covenant Christian Church. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Irmgard’s beautiful life.
Irmgard is survived by two sons Karl Dieter Zeinert of Wiesbaden, Germany and son Geno Lloyd Eugene Allen Jr. of Conroe, Texas; three daughters, Patty Smallwood and husband Sammy, Jeanine Butler and husband Kenneth, and Carolyn Flippen and husband Michael; 10 grandchildren, Geno Ethan Allen, Joseph Allen, ReAnn Allen, Christopher Smallwood and wife Heather, Cassidy Offutt and husband Wesley, Crystal Brown and husband Bronson, Cayton Flippen and wife Kimberly, Jessica Rosson and husband Jordy, Jenny McNeal and husband Cody, and Kaci Butler; 18 great-grandchildren, Rayleigh, Kinsley, Christian, Alec, Arabella, Avalee, Annalise, Weston, CJ, Tressie, Paisley, Jace, Kannon, Krislyn, Kyah, Keeley, Koen, Kage.
She was preceded in death by her parents, August Karl Ohlemacher and Wilhelmine Pauline Ohlemacher of Wiesbaden, Germany; husband, Lloyd Eugene Allen of Arthur City, Texas; son, Franz AdalBert Zeinert of Wiesbaden, Germany Irmgard was born on November 14, 1925 in Wiesbaden, Germany to August Karl Ohlemacher and Wilhelmine Pauline Ohlemacher. She married Lloyd Eugene Allen, her Army Hero, while in Germany on September 26, 1961. Irmgard never imagined she would come to the United States; however, in 1961 she traveled many miles to arrive in the US, and considered Paris her home for almost sixty years. She became a US citizen on May 26, 1978. She has accomplished the ideal goal in her life; to live a life of unconditional love and pure joy for all others to see; offering life, love, and happiness to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and everyone who crossed her path. She will forever be remembered as a wonderful woman who adored her family, lived in a state of thankfulness, and who gained her strength through her bold prayers.
Irmgard was so giving of herself. She served many years as a volunteer with St. Joseph Hospital where she enjoyed many moments of prayer at the Chapel and with the Sisters. She was also a member of Prime Time. She loved to read, to sing, to garden, to play, to create magnificent music on her harmonica, walk, ride her scooter, and most of all she loved to love all others. She was passionate for all the beauty of God’s created nature. “I love my garden, My Little Piece of Heaven.” “His beautiful earth has always given me such Joy. I truly enjoy the simple things in my life…flowers, grass, birds, butterflies, poetry, hymns, and just Love.”
