Michael Lewis Hill
June 30, 1958 – September 5, 2026
Michael Lewis Hill, beloved father, grandfather, husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on September 5, 2026, at the age of 68.
Michael was, without question, a stubborn man – strong-willed, determined, and rarely willing to back down once his mind was made up. But that stubbornness was also part of the strength with which he approached life and the people he loved. He was not a man of grand gestures, but rather expressed his love through what he did: working, providing for those he loved, protecting people who depended on him, and being there for his family. He never outgrew his love of Star Trek, enjoyed sharing his knowledge of muscle cars, and remained a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan through every season.
Michael is survived by his wife, Jessicamay Hill; his children, Travis (Rachel) Hill, Mindy (Bobby) Dennis, Wendy Hill, and Sharon Hill; his grandchildren, Joshua Dennis, Lincoln Hill, Noah Dennis, Harper Hill, and Hailey (Clinton) Quinn; his mother, Saundra Hill; his siblings, Terri (Scott) Ash, Jeff (Shannon) Hill, Steven (Stacy) Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Hill, and his first wife, Vicki Hill.
Michael leaves behind a family who will carry pieces of him forward – the lessons he taught, the strength he instilled, and the memories he created. His greatest accomplishment, his children, will continue to be a reflection of the life he built and the legacy he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 11, 2026, at 10:00 am at Bright-Holland Funeral Home in Paris, TX. His final resting place will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Joshua Dennis, Noah Dennis, Travis Hill, Bobby Dennis, Jeff Keen, and Lincoln Hill.
