Three suspects were arrested on Saturday for Terroristic Threats after “producing a note to a business advising they had an explosive,” a threat police later discovered was a stunt being videoed for social media.
According to reports, 17-year old Cameron Sage Floyd produced a note to an individual in a business in the 3800 block of Lamar Avenue advising that he had an explosive and the subject needed to leave.
Floyd was accompanied by two juvenile suspects as well.
Through investigation it was discovered that the subjects were videoing the incident for posting on social media and, in fact, all were involved.
The threat caused fear to the affected victims and management of the business.
All suspects were arrested for Terroristic Threats, a Felony, and transported to the Paris Police Department.
The juveniles were released to parents per Juvenile Probation and Floyd was booked and transferred to Lamar County Jail.
