Saturday night – July 10 – at 7 p.m., Bethel Baptist Church will host its annual fireworks show starting with free barbecue and homemade ice cream.
“As several communities host fireworks shows this past weekend, we push ours to the weekend after to give people a chance to enjoy them before ours,” said Jody VanDeaver, Bethel Baptist Church pastor. “Plus, we’ve had a lot of people say ours blows others’ out of the water.”
Alongside the free barbecue and homemade ice cream, there will be a water slide and an obstacle course. He recommends bringing a towel for the inflatable water slide and “Spheres of Doom.”
Fireworks will light up the night sky at dark – about 9:10 p.m. VanDeaver said the fireworks show lasts about 45 minutes.
Bethel Baptist Church is located at 13086 FM 905, in Pattonville, just nine miles from S.E. Loop 286 on 905.
