Paris Police observed a disturbance in the 600 block of Bonham St at 9:27 A.M. on November 15, 2021. Before the officer could make contact with the parties involved, 4 juveniles ran from the scene. The adult party involved reported that the 4 juveniles had throw a rock at his vehicle and he chased them on foot. Officers located the juveniles and they reported that the the adult male had nearly hit one of the juveniles with the vehicle. All parties were mouthing at each other. The juveniles reported that the adult driving the vehicle then got out of the vehicle and brandished a knife and threatened the juveniles with it so they ran. The investigation continues.
Taylor Ahlers, 27, was arrested in the 3200 block of NE Loop 286 at 4:02 P.M. on November 15, 2021 on a felony warrant out of the Ohio Department of Corrections. Ahlers was later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
Paris Police stopped a vehicle in the 600 block of Bonham St at 4:50 P.M. on November 15, 2021 for running a stop sign. The driver, 49 year old Amanda Jo-Kay Daniels, of Valiant, Oklahoma, was found to be in possession of methamphetamines’ and marijuana. Daniels was arrested and later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
Paris Police responded to 96 calls for service and arrested 5 persons on November 15, 2021.
