The community has come together to offer a ‘Back to School Bash’ for middle and high school students Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Love Civic Center

“This is a great night for students to get together, listen to some music and God’s word as they kick off the school year,” said Penni Carpenter.

Students and their parents are welcomed to the FREE event that will kick off at 6 p.m. at 2025 S Collegiate Dr, Paris.

The event is expected to run until 8-8:30 p.m., and there will also be some pizza and drinks available for students on the night.

Performing and speaking with students will be the 2018 TX CMA Songwriter of the Year, Justin Todd Herod

Along with the performance, three lucky students will get the chance to win a $100 cash prize on the night.

“All students in Lamar County and their parents are welcome to come down to this community outreach program event,” said Carpenter.
