Benefit set for Lamar County Detention Officer battling Hodgkins Lymphoma

A benefit for 18-year-old Eryn Boehler who has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma will be held this Saturday, March 30th, at the Brookston Volunteer Fire Department.

Boehler, who is a detention officer with the Lamar County Jail, is currently undergoing chemotherapy.

She is the daughter of Vance Boehler, Chief of Police at Chisum ISD and Tammy Rayburn Fernandez, a Seargent with the Anna Police Department.

The benefit will be at the Brookston Volunteer Fire Department, located at 1512 FR 38 South, Brookston and goes from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m.

Hot dogs and hamburgers being served for $6. There will also be an auction during the event.
