Adoptions for this year’s Lamar County Adopt-A-Cop Police Officer Adoptions will begin at 12 p.m. on Aug. 14.
National Thank A Police Officer Day is Sept. 19, and LCAAC is preparing to help show local officers just how much they are appreciated.

Each officer adoption is $50 and all participating officers ill be posted beginning at noon.
