Reno’s Annual Summer Celebration has been set for Saturday, June 27, at Kiwanis Park in Reno.
Locals can enjoy a day full of fun for the family, great barbeque and, of course, their famous fireworks.
Reno Fireworks will be putting on the fireworks show when the sun goes down (roughly 9:30 p.m.)
Barbeque plates will be available from the competing teams between 5-7 p.m. on the day. Plates will cost $10 per adult and $5 per child.
Money raised from the barbeque cookoff will benefit the Reno Volunteer Fire Department.
Known Name Roofing is also getting involved this year, providing breakfast for the teams on the day.
Live music provided by Mix Society will set the nights’ festivities before the fireworks show just after dark.
The event is BYO chairs for families, and if you want to enter a barbecue cook-off team, you can contact officials on 903-785-6581.
