Northeast Texas and southeast Oklahoma are gearing up for more than 400 miles of bargain hunting as the biannual Hwy 82/287 Yard Sale returns this weekend, Oct. 2-3.
The two-day event stretches across communities throughout the Red River Valley, with yard sales, garage sales, sidewalk sales, flea markets and more planned along the Hwy 82 and Hwy 287 corridors.
Participating towns, from as far as New Boston to Seymour and Bowie to Burkburnett, will have maps available guiding shoppers to the special sales.
Some towns will have yard sales set up at a central location, or spread throughout the community.
