The Paris Police Officers Association Big Hog Hunt is back and hunters can expect another great event set to kick off Sept. 28.

The event will start at 12 p.m. on the 28th, and finish the same time on the 29th. Teams will be made up of two people with an entry fee of $100 per team.

The hunt  will cover Lamar County and surrounding areas with officials reminding those that want to take part, trapping is not allowed.

The funds raised will go towards different organizations within the community that the Paris Police Officers Association works with, as well as scholarships and helping officers when in need.

All TPWD rules and regulations will apply with this event. Meaning you will be required to be eligible to par-take.

There will also be a number of prizes up for grabs with scoring and presentation awards happening at American Towing located at 1840 NW Loop 286 at 1:15 p.m. on Sept. 29.
