Fireworks during New Year celebrations in RENO are permitted as long as the ordinance below is followed. Do so proudly, but please do so respectfully and safely, as well. Be thoughtful of your neighbors and please clean up all debris.
For this holiday, fireworks are permitted ONLY from December 20th through January 6th (consistent with the regulations below). These may be discharged in RENO between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
*For December 31st through January 1st, they are permitted beginning at 11:00 a.m. on the 31st of December and no later than 1:00 a.m. on the 1st of January.*
