Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 9:25am; Paris Dispatch received notification that 44-year-old Terri Lashurn Yates was in the lobby of the Adult Probation Office in the 4300 block of Bonham Street. A Paris Officer responded to the location and placed Yates under arrest for Felony Motion to Adjudicate Guilt-Assault Peace Officer/Judge Warrant and transported and booked her into the Paris Jail.
Friday, November 1, 2024, at 2:43am; during an argument about relationship issues, a female victim, in the 10 block of West Washington Street stated that her boyfriend shot through her apartment window and left the scene in a green colored vehicle. Arriving Paris Officers observed a single bullet hole in the window by the front door and recovered an intact projectile from a back room. Shortly after leaving the scene, officers were re-dispatched back to the location. The boyfriend had returned, made entry through a window, took the victim’s phone, and physically assaulted her before leaving on foot, traveling east. A Deadly Conduct Discharge Firearm and Burglary Habitation intend Other Felony reports were taken for investigation.
