Photographers across the nation have started a movement to help families remember the COVID-19 pandemic. They’re offering “front porch sessions.”
“I wanted to give people something to smile about, and bring a little happiness during this time,” said Jennifer Hollje of Jennifer Hollje Photography.
Posting to her social media platforms, Hollje put the call out to families in her area in time slots available and before she knew it her entire day was booked with different families wanting to be a part of her #frontporchsession.
Making sure to follow current guidelines of staying 6ft apart, Hollje snapped photos from the curbside.
“I drove to their homes and took photos from the curb. It was so good to see families together and smiling.”
Hollje said the past few weeks have been tough on many families in Paris, including her own, and she wanted to find a way to give to the community through my photography.
“It’s all about capturing a moment that will tell a story forever.”
