During the COVID-19 pandemic, communities are coming together more than ever to help those in need.
While some might call it a roadside food pantry, stocked with snacks, canned goods, and other necessities, the couple who built the box and wish to remain anonymous, prefer to call it a “blessing box.”
“We know times can be hard for some right now, so if you are needing a little something to put in your belly or the kiddos, don’t hesitate to see if there is something in there for you or someone else,” said the couple.
Those who wish to also place items in the box for others are also encouraged to do so and, yes, there is hand sanitizer in the box for safety precautions.
“It may not be much but we hope we can bless you with a little something.”
The box is located at the dead-end on Faucett Street in Blossom.
