On July 10, an officer stopped a vehicle in the 500 block of Lamar Avenue for defective equipment. The driver, Juan Ibarra (19) was found to be in possession of an alcoholic beverage. Ibarra was searched for weapons and two THC vape pens were found on his person. A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana and more THC vape pens. Ibarra was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana. He was booked without incident.

On July 10, an officer stopped a vehicle in the 1000 block of Tudor Street for a vehicle equipment violation. The driver was identified as Roderick Dontay Dawson (39). Officers found Dawson to have several open containers of alcoholic beverages in the vehicle. Officers located marijuana and cocaine in the vehicle. Dawson was arrested and booked for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

On July 11, Officers received a report of a Robbery in the 10 block of NE 8th St. The victims advised that while meeting a known individual at an address in the area they were accosted by a group of individuals who robbed them of phones, clothing, and other personal property. The suspects were located nearby but no arrest were made. Some property was recovered. The incident remains under investigation. There were no injuries to the victims.

Officers made 14 traffic stops, 6 adult arrest, and answered 108 calls for service for this reporting period.
