Several Lamar County couples tied the knot at the courthouse on an unforgettable 2/22/22 wedding date.
Kerry and Katheryn Woosley, who have been together for three years, chose this date as they heard it to be good luck. The couple went to Irving High School together, graduating in 1980 and 1984 respectively, reconnecting several years ago and the rest, as they say, is history.
Not only is today’s date a palindrome, because it reads the same forward and backward, but it will also be the same no matter what part of the world you’re in, regardless of your country uses the day-month-year or year-month-day format.
The date is so rare the National Weather Service says a “Twosday” won’t happen again for another 400 years in 2422.
Congratulations to all those who married on this special date.
