Last week Honey Grove Police Department recognized the generosity of Cub Scout Pack 51 after they graciously donated a bullet proof vest.
The department said on their Facebook page that the local pack donated $900 which resulted in the purchase of the vest.
Once arrived at the office, the members of Pack 51 presented Officer Tel Pitcock with the gift.
“Pack leader Heather Steely along with scouts Holden Killingsworth, Parker Killingsworth, Arthur Steely, Angus Steely, Clayton Birdsong, Zakarsyah Siler, and Brooklyn Birdsong was all present. Thank you all for the donation,” Honey Grove Police Chief Dixon said.
