The U.S. Marshals have issued rewards up to $2,500 each for information leading to the capture of three men wanted by the McCurtain County Sheriff’s Office after they escaped from custody on Feb. 3 in Idabel, OK.
The U.S. Marshals Service requests information in locating 21-year-old Justin Michael Hughes, 23-year-old Jerome Lynn Rutherford Jr. and 21-year-old Donnie Kale Middlebrooks.
Hughes is a white male with brown hair, green eyes, weighing at about 170 pounds and stands about 5’10” tall.
Rutherford, 23, is a black male with black hair, brown eyes weighing in at about 153 pounds and stands at about 6’ tall.
Middlebrooks, 21, is a white male with brown hair, brown eyes weighing in at about 201 pounds and stands at about 6’03” tall.
On Saturday night, the McCurtain County Sheriff’s Office, with the help of the Choctaw Nation Tribal Police Department, captured and arrested one of the four escaped inmates from the McCurtain County Jail.
Kolby Russell Watson was located in central McCurtain County without incident, according to the McCurtain County SO.
“Information continues to pour in and intelligence continues to be developed in this case and we will not rest until the remaining 3 escapees are re-captured,” McCurtain County SO shared. “Local, State and Federal resources are being deployed in the search for the remaining three escapees.”

On Feb. 3, 2022, at about 8:30 p.m., McCurtain County Jailers confirmed four inmates missing during a routine headcount.
