Judy Ann Miears, our beloved beautiful mother has been blessed with a new journey to heaven on June 2nd, 2026 to be with our Lord God and Jesus Christ our savior a few days before her 86th birthday.
She was preceded in death by her parents Johny & Violet Miears; sister, Bobbie Sue & husband, Ross Blair; brother, Johny Ray Miears, brother, Sammy Miears and her grandson, Zane Dixon.
She is survived by siblings; sister, Elizabeth Miears, brother, Jimmy & wife, Katy Miears, and her sister, Sandra & husband, Randy Reed; a wonderful mother to her three children; Son, Dan & wife, Sheila Dito of Nevada, daughters, Nicole Barnes & Rian Reese of Arkansas; a fun loving caring grandmother to Christopher Reed of Texas, Johnny & wife, Sonia Dito of California, Vincent Dito of California, Lauren Denny of Texas, Stephanie & husband, Antonio Ubach of Texas, and Hannah & husband, Michael Miller of Arkansas; great grandmother to Rose, Giovanni, Kaysen, Eliot, Sammy, Lyra, Valentina, Maren & Karina. She is also survived by many cousins left throughout the family.
Judy was born in Bogata, Texas, grew up in Harrison Arkansas and graduated from Harrison, Arkansas High school. After High School she modeled for a little while before moving to San Francisco, Ca worked as a telephone operator. She met & married Paul Dito in San Francisco and they raised 3 children. She met her second husband Dr. Michael Loch audiologist and spent many years in California before moving back to Texas. She owned her own Merle Norman Cosmetics business in Santa Rosa, Ca before joining Michael in the hearing aid practice. They left California and moved back to Texas and started their practices at the Loch Hearing Center in Russellville, Arkansas, Sulphur Springs & Paris, Tx. They also belonged to the Lions’ Club of Paris. They retired & moved to Georgetown, Texas to be near her daughter’s as her husband became ill.
Widowed at a young age, she became involved in theatre, singing & dancing in the Sun City Follies at her senior community. She lived in Georgetown 25 years before moving back to Blossom, Tx where the Miears family was raised, near her birthplace of Bogata, Texas in 2024. She wanted to move back home for her final resting place.
The family will be holding a Celebration of life at the Knights of Honor cemetery in Blossom, Texas on Thursday, July 9th 11:00 am for those who are able and would like to attend.
