In recognition of October’s Fire Safety Month, Mrs. Cannada’s class took a field trip to the Paris Fire Station for a hands-on lesson in fire safety.
During their visit, students toured the station, got an up-close look at a fire truck, and learned more about the important role firefighters play in keeping the community safe. One of the highlights of the trip was meeting Sparky the Fire Dog!
The visit gave students an opportunity to connect what they learn in the classroom to real-world experiences while building awareness of fire safety.
North Lamar ISD appreciates the Paris Fire Department for welcoming students and taking the time to make learning about fire safety both fun and memorable.
