With students having to study from home due to schools being closed amid the coronavirus pandemic, local internet company, WiFires, is going above and beyond for Lamar County residents by offering FREE internet in downtown Paris.

For those wanting to take advantage of FREE internet, it is available anywhere around the square in downtown Paris and at the Splash Pad located at 322 Lamar Ave.
To access FREE internet, go to Wi-Fi on your phone or computer and look for SSID “wifires.com/free” or “wifires.com/free2G”
Kines said there is no sign in required and internet will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
