Paris Police on Monday removed a card skimmer from a gas pump in the 2900 block of S. Church Street in Paris.
“An employee reported that someone had placed a skimmer on a gas pump,” said officer Curtis Garrett.
It is unknown at this time how long the skimmer had been on the pump before being discovered.
“Always check to make sure the security seal has not been broken on the gas pump before putting your card in,” said Garrett.
The investigation continues.
