The Salvation Army is in full swing asking for donations with their annual red kettle stands.
Today the local Salvation Army branch announced that staff from First Federal Community Bank, SSB, have volunteered to ring the bell.
Further adding that for every dollar donated First Federal will match each dollar dropped into the red kettle today!
You can help the Salvation Army double their donations by visiting Brookshires on Clarksville St., between 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. today.
The Salvation Army brass band will also make a special appearance and performing Christmas music at lunchtime.
If you miss them today, the Salvation Army has volunteers located all around Lamar County at the doors of all major businesses where you will be able to donate.
