It’s that time of year again where Reno residents can showcase their patriotism by displaying flags ahead of the five upcoming patriotic holidays.

Reno Fire Chief Chad Graves said American Flags are still available for purchase as the departments volunteer firefighters are set to place flags ahead of the Memorial Day celebrations this Thursday and Friday.

“The money from flag purchases will go towards helping the department purchase equipment we need,” Graves said.

To buy a flag or two,  all you have to do is email the department renofire@renotexas.us or you can go by Reno City Hall to fill out a form and pay for your flag(s).

Flags cost $30 each if you purchase one, two or three, but for four or more the cost is $25 each.

Reno Volunteer Fire Department will place the purchased flags for Memorial Day, Flag Day, 4th of July, Labor Day and Veterans Day.
