Powderly Volunteer Fire Department is gearing up for its Annual Chili Supper and Live Auction Fundraiser, and donated items for its auction are currently being collected.
“We want everyone to come out and join us for a great evening of food, fellowship – all for a great cause,” said Randi Johnson, Powderly VFD informations officer. “We love to serve our community and Lamar County, and cannot do it without your support.”
The annual chili supper and auction will be in Aaron Parker Elementary School’s Gym, 98 County Road 44112 in Powderly, on Feb. 25 from 4-8 p.m. The fundraiser is donation only and will offer chili with all the trimmings, dessert and drinks.
All proceeds from Powderly Volunteer Fire Department’s Annual Chili Supper and Live Auction Fundraiser will go toward the fire department and its operation expenses.
