Paris High School Theater Departments much anticipated fall musical, ‘Seussical the Musical’ opens tonight and is already receiving rave reviews.
“Seussical is based on the children’s stories of Dr. Seuss, with most of its plot being based on Horton Hears a Who! while incorporating many other stories,” said director Amy Burrows.
Burrows said the musical has become a frequent production for schools and regional theatres.
The show is performed almost entirely to music and earlier today, Paris ISD elementary students got to see the show ahead of their performance tonight.
“Paris ISD elementary school students attend the fall musical each year and their expressions are priceless as they show how thrilled they are by the performances,” said Amy Burrows.
“One of the best parts of the fall musical is when the cast gets to greet the students of Paris ISD after performances.”
Seussical opens to the public tonight at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, December 1st and Sunday, December 2nd performances are at 2:30 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased at the door. General admission adults $10.00. Children and students $3.00.
