Paris Regional Medical Center’s ‘CAMO EXPO’ set for Sept. 7

Paris Regional Medical Center’s ‘CAMO EXPO’ will be held this weekend, Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. 

The event is geared towards being safe outdoors and will boast a bevy of activities for the whole family to enjoy and learn. 

There will be plenty of safety information regarding deer stands, ATV’s, fire, boating, and hunting plus there will be gun and archery safety demonstrated on the day with professionals on hand ready to help you and your family to be safe outdoors. 

“We will have door prizes, giveaways and more,” said Samantha McDowra, “its free fun and education, for all ages, to keep you safe outdoors.” 

The local AirEvac team will also be there on the day offering hanger tours at their base, which is located right next to the hospital, and there will be exhibits like fingerprinting, drunk goggle simulation, general first aid, splints, and slings, stop the bleed and hands-only CPR. 

Vendors including Paris Harley Davidson, Chicota Volunteer Fire Department, Lamar County Fish and Game, Paris Police Department, Paris EMS and more will all be on scene plus local food trucks such as Kona Ice, Burger Land and Gallaghan’s Food Truck will also be at the expo. 

The event is FREE for the whole family tand will be held at the PRMC Pavillion parking lot.
