Officers responded to a fight in progress at 1300 block of Clarksville. They made contact with Zatwavion Easter, who was leaving the area. Easter was found to have a warrant for Deadly Conduct (Discharging a Firearm) a Felony. Easter was arrested and booked without incident.
Officers responded to the 600 block of SW 7th in regards to a disturbance. They made contact with Lakayla Nicole Kendricks who was in a disturbance with another family member. After it was established that Kendricks had assaulted the other individual, Kendricks was arrested for Assault Class A Family Violence. She was taken into custody and jailed.
Officers responded to 60 W. Washington St in regards to an intoxicated person causing a disturbance. Officers made contact with numerous occupants of the apartment complex and also with the suspect, Kerry Rollerson. Rollerson was using profane and abusive language towards his neighbors and then ran into his apartment and slammed the door to avoid officers. Rollerson then started a disturbance with another family member. He was placed under arrest for Class C Disorderly Conduct. Once at the jail, Rollerson attempted to assault an officer by head butting the officer in the face. Rollerson was bodily placed into a cell by officers after continued resistance. He was also charged with Resisting Arrest or Transport. A Class A Misdemeanor.
An officer was flagged down in the 1600 block of NE 17th and advised of a Burglary of a Residence. The victim advised he had left his tools in a residence that he was doing construction on on September 5, 2023 and that between that time and the time of the report someone had entered the residence and stolen power tools, an air compressor, and a Bluetooth speaker. The incident is under investigation.
