On Oct. 12 at 3:53 p.m., officers responded to the 800 block of SW 3rd in regards to a violation of a Protective Order. Officers were aware of a terroristic threat made at the residence by Kendall Price Corpus on October 11th. Corpus had been arrested and an Emergency Protective Order had been requested. It was confirmed that the Emergency Protective Order had been issued by a magistrate. Officers located Corpus at the residence and placed him in jail for violation of the protective order. He was booked and taken to county jail…. again.
On Oct. 13 at 1:55 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation in the 400 block of N. Main St. Officers found the driver, Leah Glaze, to be intoxicated. Glaze was given field sobriety test, which she failed, and was subsequently placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. She was taken for blood testing to confirm alcohol or other intoxicants in her system. A firearm was located in Glaze’s vehicle and she was also charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon due to her intoxicated state.
On Oct. 12 at 7:08 a.m., officer responded to the 1100 block of SE 17 in regards to an assault. The officer met the victim and a witness, who advised that a known suspect had attempted to rob the victim at gunpoint. The victim was uninjured and the suspect had fled the scene prior to officers arrival. The incident had occurred in the victim’s garage. An investigation is ongoing.
