North Lamar High School students, Gage Miner and Luiz Holloway, had a triumphant debut at the Special Olympics Area track and field event in Cedar Hill recently.
Gage Miner earned himself a silver medal, placing 2nd in the 100m dash and won gold in the mini javelin.
Luiz Holloway took home gold medals in both the 25m wheelchair race and softball throw.
