Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 7:28am: Paris PD Officers responded to a report of a Burglary of a Business in the 200 block of South Collegiate Drive. An employee has arrived at work to find the back glass door shattered. A cash drawer and its contents of over $300 cash were the only items noticed to be missing. The empty cash drawer was located outside the business, a few feet from the shattered glass door. A latent print was lifted to assist with the continued investigation.
Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 6:09pm: During an investigation of a criminal trespass complaint in the 600 block of SE 9th; 63-year-old Everett Henry Aker of Paris was arrested and taken into custody for a Felony Parole Violation (Theft Property $2500<$30000). Aker was later transported to the Lamar County Jail.
Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 11:53pm: Paris Police Officers responded to the 3500 block of NE Loop 286 to a fight in progress call. Officers attempted to speak with the two remaining involved parties on scene, a father and his son; but were unable to determine exactly what had transpired during the physical altercation due to their levels of intoxication and uncooperativeness. The father, 46-year-old Carlos Castillo-Andrade of Dumas Arkansas was arrested on scene for Public Intoxication and Fail To Identify (refusing to give DOB); and picked up an additional charge of Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance while being booked into jail when a clear plastic baggie containing a substance testing positive for cocaine was located on his person. The son was also arrested on scene for Misdemeanor violations.
Thursday, November 10, 2022: The Paris Police Department responded to 82 calls for service and arrested 9 adult persons.
