On Feb. 29, Officers arrested Colton Heath Golightly (35) on a Parole Warrant for (Possession of Controlled Substance) after he was stopped in the 2500 block lf Lamar Ave for an equipment violation. Golightly was processed without incident.
On Feb. 29, Karen Elaine Hines (28) was arrested on a warrant for Theft of over 2,500.00 but less than 30,000. Hines was contacted in the 3100 block of NE Loop 286 and taken into custody. This arrest is resulting from an Embezzlement case reported initially on the 12th day of February and occurring in the 500 block of N. Main St.
On Feb. 29, officers resounded to Wal Mart and arrested Tamaria Shardaye Jones (29) for failing to scan items at the self checkout and then attempting to leave the store. Jones took $142.23 worth of items. She was arrested and processed without incident.
On Feb. 29 at 10:33 p.m., an officer observed a vehicle run into a guardrail in the 2500 block of N. Main St. The officer made contact with the driver, who was uninjured, and identified them as Stazha Dechele Mathis (22). Mathis was found to be in a highly intoxicated state. Officer found two open alchoholic beverage containers in the vehicle. Both were empty. Mathis was arrested for DWI (Open Container), taken for a blood draw, and then booked without incident.
Officers made 8 traffic stops, 5 adult arrest, and answered 109 calls for service on for this reporting period.
