Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of Clarksville St about a suspicious person. Officer located a subject, Christopher Shane Lusk, inside the business. Lusk was carrying a backpack with a large machete in it. Officer removed Lusk from the store and asked for permission to search him for safety concerns. Lusk refused but then began emptying his pockets voluntarily. The officer observed Lusk attempting to conceal an eyeglasses case. When asked about the case, Lusk presented the case to the officer, who noted that the case contained drug paraphernalia. The officer then conducted a probable cause search of Lusk’ person and located methamphetamine in Lusk pocket as well as inside the backpack. Lusk was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Felony.
Officer responded to the 200 block of SW 19th St. in regards to a disturbance where a female had entered a residence and pushed the complainant out of their own home. Officer recognized the description of clothing as Donetta Robinson, who had been in another disturbance shortly before. In this incident Robinson had entered the residence without permission and had attacked the owner, who did not know her. The two had struggled out the door of the residence and Robinson had struck the owner in the face with her fist and then fled the scene. The victim had swelling to his face and eye. Officers located Robinson at a residence in the 2000 block of W. Kaufman where she was taken into custody without incident. Robinson was found to be intoxicated. She was charged with Public Intoxication with 3 Prior Convictions and with Burglary of a Residence, a Felony.
