Paris Police responded to a theft in the 2200 block of W Sherman St at 7:37 A.M. on April 18, 2022. The victim reported that they had recently moved to Paris and the moving company arrived on April 17, to deliver his belongings. The victim had a small caliber firearm in the kitchen and now the firearm is missing. The victim believes that one of the movers may have taken it. The incident is under investigation.
Paris Police arrested 52 year old Joseph Daniel Lewis, of Paris, in the 2100 block of E Cherry St at 2:08 P.M. on April 18, 2022 on a parole violation warrant. Lewis was later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
Paris Police responded to 72 calls for service and arrested 4 persons on April 18, 2022.
