The 2023 Paris Police Officers Association Annual Varmint Hunt, sponsored by American Towing, is set to kick off on March 4, and registration to enter is underway.

Registration to enter the varmint hunt is $100 per two-man team and is open until 10 a.m. on March 4. Hunters are required to abide by Texas Parks and Wildlife Department rules and regulations – legal hunting methods only, no trapping.
To enter for the big dog/cat pot, it is $40 per team, and all monies paid on extra pots will be combined and split in half for winners – winner of each pot gets 50% payout.
Start location will be at American Towing, 1840 N.W. Loop 286 at noon on March 4 and end at noon on March 5. Mandatory team check in is at 11 a.m. on March 4 at American Towing.
Animals are required to be self sufficient before harvest – baby animals will not be scored.
Official scoring and award presentation will take place no later than 1:30 p.m. on March 5 at the weigh-in location, American Towing, 1840 N.W. Loop 286. Tie-breakers will be determined by a coin toss.
Any violations to the rules will lead to an automatic disqualification and all monies paid will be forfeited.
