Fun Friday’s activities are a way to reward students for their hard work and good attendance. Paris Junior High has been unable to celebrate with Fun Fridays since COVID would not allow for large gatherings in one place. This past Friday, they celebrated their second Fun Friday. Students that have maintained passing grades and had all assignments turned in are invited to the gymnasium for the last hour of the day on a designated Friday.
Students had fun participating in a grade level war of dodgeball for the first Fun Friday and had a grade level dance-off with DJ Rydell Martin this past Friday.
“Our students had not been able to gather for assemblies or activities throughout the year, so it was very exciting to see our students laughing and enjoying the fun. They have worked so hard this year and overcome many obstacles. It was gratifying to celebrate with them!” stated Principal Kristi Callihan.
