Paris Firefighter Luke Chalaire recently completed his probationary year with the Paris Fire Department and received his black helmet.
“Firefighter Chalaire has demonstrated the drive and discipline needed to finish the numerous tasks we require all of our probationary firefighters to complete,” said the Paris Fire Department.
Chalaire chose his mother, Tricia to pin his badge.
“This is an important milestone in a firefighters career,” the department said of the milestone. “We appreciate his effort and willingness to serve our community.”
