Michael Deupree was a devoted family man. To know Michael was to understand how much he adored his spouse, Shea, as well as his children, Annastyn (who was practically attached to him at the hip), Cason, and Chloe. More than just a dad, Michael was loved by so many people in different ways. He was a beloved husband, brother, son, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend, and more.
Michael was always quick to use his light-hearted humor to diffuse a situation. He grew up playing football and loved to golf, fish, and have tea parties with his baby girl. Michael lived for the time that he got to spend with his kids, and that was apparent to everyone who knew him.
Michael lived an exciting life full of twists, turns, and travels, but the defining characteristic of his life is how he crossed the finish line as the best version of himself. He ran his race well, becoming strongest at the end. Michael was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, became a loving father, met long-lost siblings, shared adventures with his family, and introduced his spouse Shea into the lives of his relatives to become a pillar of his extended family.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents Paul & Sue Deupree, Howard Sulsar, and sister Alicia Hines.
Michael leaves behind his spouse Shea, son Cason, daughters Chloe & Annastyn, his sisters Kerri Higgs, Rebekah Tumblin, Shaunda Keller, brothers Robert Faulkner, Chris Yates, Chad Yates, & Cory Pickett, father Alan Deupree, mothers Sandy Deupree & Kaye Newson, grandmother Eunice Conley, nephew Gabe Higgs, as well as a host of other beloved family members and friends– too many to list, but all loved.
His friends and family will miss Michael, as they continue their own journies in life, but the reunion that awaits in Heaven brings us comfort in these emotional times, as we look forward to meeting him once again.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Michael Deupree will be held on Friday, October 20th, at Pathway Church of God, 3805 S.E. Loop 286 in Paris, TX at 11:00 am.
