The Honey Grove Chamber of Commerce is set to host the Davy Crockett Festival on Saturday, Oct. 10 at Honey Grove’s downtown square. The event will run from 3 to 8 p.m. with a street dance to follow.
The festival, which has been held annually for more than 50 years, will include several different events, eats, and various forms of entertainment for those who attend. Some of the festival’s activities will include crafts, gifts, a cake walk, food, and live music performed by Rue 82.
There will be booths set up at the site in accordance with social distancing guidelines surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Festival-goers are encouraged but not required to wear masks since the event and its activities are taking place outdoors.
