Detroit Independent School District on Wednesday said it received a report of a possible threat made against a secondary campus, but following in-depth investigation, it was determined to be invalid.
“In an effort to be transparent, Detroit ISD is releasing the following information,” the school posted on social media. “This morning we received a report of a possible threat made against a secondary campus. After an in-depth investigation by administration and the Detroit ISD Police Department, the threat was determined to be invalid and that there was no legitimate threat to any student or staff member in the district. The safety of our students and staff are always at the forefront of our decision making. We appreciate your trust and support in educating your students in a safe environment.”
