An adoption event hosted by Baby Gunn’s Animal Rescue is slated for Saturday, Feb. 11 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. inside the old All Things Coffee and Books building at 138 Lamar Ave.
“We will have all kinds of fully-vetted dogs there – large and small,” Baby Gunn’s Animal Rescue said.
Basic adoption fees of $150 covers all vetting – vet check for health, heartworm test, shots, wormer, spay/neuter, microchip for life and flea/tick/heartworm med.
“Come see us and find your fur-ever friend,” Adoption Coordinator Sheri Ashford said.
All dogs require applications to ensure the pet “is a right fit for your family, and if you lease or rent your home we must have approval from the landlord to adopt.”
