Grab the kids and be ready to get MESSY and WET while exploring the world through various science experiments.
Fun With Science Fair is an interactive event for the whole family that’ll not only be fun but educational.
“Some items you will make and get to take home and other items you will simply have fun exploring,” said Laura Dieck with Learning Adventures Child Care, Inc.
Some of the activities will include watercolor resist with crayons, making slime (polymers and linking molecule), snow table, sensory/lava bottles (oil and water do not mix), walking water experiment & what is soluble, quicksand (suspension), making bubble, making salt dough, sink or float, colorful chemical reaction, gardening, is this magnetic, bounce house/slide combo, obstacle course, sprinkler play area and more.
“We also have the Volunteer Powderly Fire Dept bringing out two trucks to do water activities every hour. Kona Ice will be there selling snow cones and we will have 3 bounce houses plus the Lamar County Master Gardeners will be planting with the children.”
Those wanting to attend can signup online – bracelets that will get kids into all 9 nine tables are $5 each otherwise each table is $1 per child.
