Lillie Elizabeth Welch, 91, a longtime resident of Paris, now of Hutto, TX passed away Monday, June 11, 2018, in Round Rock Texas. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 4:00 p.m. Monday, June 18th, at the Evergreen Chapel with Rev. Ken Cannon officiating.
Lillie was born August 17, 1926, in Lamar County Texas. She was the daughter of Justice Carlile and Lawrence D. Mathews. She married Joe Welch, and he preceded her in death on May 16, 1989.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Bilant (Paul Bilant) of Hutto, TX, two granddaughters, Jamie Noah (Stacy) of Sumner, TX and Amy Parks (Pete) of Round Rock, TX, six grandchildren; Jewelli Norton & Jodi Norton of Round Rock, Patrick Noah & Paiglin Noah of Sumner, TX and Madison Parks & Bailee Parks, Austin, TX
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe, and brother, Loyd Mathews.
Mrs. Welch retired from Westinghouse Lamp Division in Paris following a number of years of service to the company. She later lived in Silver City, N.M. for several years and moved back to Texas in 2013.
