The Lamar County Republican Party announced Frank Wright Jr. as its new Chairman, succeeding Scott Hommel, who recently resigned from the position.
“With a strong commitment to conservative principles and a proven dedication to serving the community, Wright steps into this role with enthusiasm and a clear vision for the future of the party,” said the organization in a press release.
The election took place during a meeting of the party’s executive committee, convened to address the vacancy left by Hommel’s resignation. Wright Jr, a longtime member of the Lamar County Republican Party and Precinct Chair, was elected by a wide margin to lead the party forward.
“I am humbled and honored to have been elected as the new Chairman of the Lamar County Republican Party, and I am grateful for the trust placed in me by my fellow party members,” said Wright Jr. “I am fully committed to upholding our conservative values and working tirelessly to advance the interests of Lamar County residents.”
Wright Jr brings with him a wealth of experience in grassroots organizing, political activism, and community leadership. His passion for serving the people of Lamar County and his unwavering dedication to Republican principals make him uniquely qualified to lead the party during this critical time.
As Chairman, Wright Jr, is committed to building upon the successes of his predecessors and to expanding the party’s outreach efforts, engaging with voters, and supporting Republican candidates at all levels of government.
“The Lamar County Republican Party extends its gratitude to Hommel for his dedicated service and wishes him well in his future endeavors. The party looks forward to a bright future under the leadership of Chairman Wright Jr and is expected to continue its mission of promoting conservative values ad serving the people of Lamar County.”
