While it may not be Girl Scout cookie season, fans are disappointed at the news that the popular Raspberry Rally cookie wont be returning next season.
The Girl Scouts of the USA told TODAY.com that the cookie was introduced as part of a pilot online-only sales strategy.
“This was a fun and new way to teach girls omnichannel business skills and expand our cookie portfolio by introducing an exciting new flavor profile to the Girl Scout Cookie Program.”
Although the cookie was “extremely popular last year,” the Girl Scouts will be taking a pause on the Raspberry Rally cookie to prioritize supplying its classic varieties.
If that news wasn’t disappointing enough, the price of cookies are also going up from $5 to $6 a box in “order to combat rising production and material costs.”
Despite the changes, Girl Scouts are gearing up for cookie season — which runs January through April 2024.
