Female reported missing from Richardson found deceased in Red River County

A woman reported missing out of Richardson, Texas, has been found deceased in Avery, Texas, said the Red River County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a call on Oct. 2, 2023, regarding the discovery of a deceased person on FM 114 in Avery, Texas.

“Subsequent investigation has confirmed the identity of the deceased individual as a female who was reported missing from Richardson, Texas,” said officials. 

Cause of death remains undetermined at this time.

Next of kin has been notified.
